How to Move Images to a Different Encounter

Whoops!  An image was uploaded into the wrong chart encounter and you need to move it to the correct Encounter.  Below are instructions on how to remove the image and attach to a new Encounter.

Detach the Image from the Incorrect Encounter 

In the Encounter click the "imaging" button as normal

Scroll down to the " Attached Images" section.  Select the images you want to remove by clicking on the radio button under the image.  Scroll down to the bottom of the pop up and click "detach selected". 

Once you detach the images from this current chart, they will get sent back up to the top of the pop up to be selected and attached to any other chart they may belong to.

⭐ Note:  Do not select the Delete button at the top of the pop up.  This will delete it out of the EMR and you will not be able to reattach to the correct Encounter. 

Attach the Image to the Correct Encounter

Open the correct Encounter for the Image. Scroll down to the Diagnostic area and Click the "imaging" button as normal.

The pop-up will appear.  Images that you detached from the previous Encounter will be in the top section named "Add New  Images" 

Select the radio button underneath the Image you want to attach to the Encounter.  

Click the blue "Import Image" button
