Nidek RT-6100: How to remotely reboot the MEM-200

Created by Jason Spatola, Modified on Wed, 28 May at 3:58 PM by Jason Spatola

Issue: RT-6100 phoropter is not functioning, or data from pretest devices is not transmitting to MarcoConnect

1. Navigate to the MEM-200 admin console

The black box next to the gray relay box plays an important role in communication between the phoropter unit, the controller, and the PC.  It can be rebooted through a web browser.  Type this in the address bar in Google Chrome: 192.168.0.120

2. Reboot

The device can be rebooted by pressing the Start button next to the Reboot column at the bottom of the page.

3. Close tab

The page will display "Rebooting", and after ~10 seconds the phoropter will beep.  You can close the tab anytime.

4. Resume normal operation

Close and reopen Eyemax/Eyelogic and try controlling the phoropter.  Try sending data from the control box.
