How to Find Host Name and Serial Number of Card Reader

Once the device is connected to internet, the Host Name along with other various information will populate on the device. (Note the host name is static and set by GlobalPay. Only way to view it is on the device or calling their IT line)

To View

• On Home Screen (Blue screen with GlobalPayment Logo) press 000
• Enter code 9416557
• At the top of the Screen will say Admin Overview 
  • If connected to internet right the fields below will populate
• Check the Terminal Status is Up to date
• Towards the bottom next to Hostname is the one made for the device 
  • Name will be along the line xxxxx.cedevice.io
• Look below for example

To view Device Serial Number:

    On the back the serial number should be written on the panel covering the base 

• On the same page as above scroll down and right under host name is the Serial Number of the device

• If you can get on the device physically but its connected to internet still, log onto the any pc on the network
• In chrome enter https://[IP or hostname]:8443/v2/pos?Action=Status&Format=XML 
  • ex https://192.168.3.50:8443/v2/pos?Action=Status&Format=XML (what most sites will use)
• press advance the open page and it will give the serial number at the top
