Manually starting WiFi on P400 Device

If device doesn't connect to WiFi automatically follow these steps to manually activate

1. Press 1,5,9 at the same time
2. Select Com Control
3. Select WiFi
4. Press Start Interface, press ok when stopped
   • On the next screen it should say Lan: Down and WiFi: Up. 
5. Hit exit, then yes then hit the Genius icon
   • It will return back to the blue screen with the GlobalPayment logo
6. You can verify it works now on your POS system by testing the transaction again or running a connection test on the device itself

⭐ Note: Always Verify the WiFi password hasn't changed and the Desktop/Laptop the transaction is being processed on is on the same network as the Card Reader

Connection Test

To run a connection Test on the Globalpay Card Reader

1. Press 000
2. Use the keypad to enter the passcode, and then tap OK. The password is 9416557.
3. Tap Options, and then tap Network.
4. Tap Options, and then tap Connection Test
5. Check that both the Transport test and the Genius test pass (It will show green like below)
6. Your unit is all set to go
