Disconnecting/Reconnecting Parani SD-1000

Steps to Disconnect/Reconnecting Phoropter from Parani via ParaniWin Software



 How To Disconnect Phoropter on ParaniWin



Step 1: Locate ParaniWin Software

  1.     On the Windows task bar, click search and type 'ParaniWin" and an application as depicted below will appear.
    • It may also appear on the desktop as well


Step 2: Navigating ParaniWin Software

  1. Upon launching software this window will pop up, you may leave it as is and press ok
  2. On the left hand side, navigate to connection out 
  3. On this screen, select the phoropter under search results, then press disconnect
  4. Once the phoropter is disconnected this message will appear as below
    • You may now startup the tablet for the phoropter to connect to now if needed


 
Note: In order to reconnect the phoropter to the PC again it will need to re pair with the parani from this software here. See below for reconnecting steps. 



Reconnecting Phoropter to Parani on ParaniWin Software


Follow from Steps 1-2b from above to get to this part where we reconnect the phoropter to the parani.


Step 1 Search for phoropter

  1. Make sure phoropter is on (make sure tablet is off as well if previously used for connection)
  2. On the connection(out) screen, select search 
  3. The phoropter will show up as depicted below (specific name will vary but it will appear as "VX65 head...")
  4. Select the phoropter, then press connect below
  5. Upon completion, this message will show 
    • It is now connected to the pc.
  6. Close the Parani app before starting Eyemax. (If you accidentally open Eyemax before closing the Parani app, close both apps and relaunch Eyemax.)
