20/20NOW Contract Structures
There are five different ways a client could be contracted with 20/20NOW to perform Eye Exams. This articles reviews those five structures and the different Operations protocol that come with them.

Professional Service Agreement (PSA) / Telehealth Agreement
Client: Private Opticals and Optometrists/Ophthalmologists, BJs
Who Employees the PCC: The Client (Optical Shop, OD, BJs)
Who and How are Patient's Scheduled: Client with own practice management software
Phone Number: The Client
Webpage: The Client
Marketing: 20/20NOW can provide artwork, the site pay for any and all printing and signage.
Exam Payments: Client Collects and keeps exam payment from patient on their credit card machine. Client pays 20/20NOW per exam fee at the end of the month.
Who Sets Exam Price: Client sets exam fee price.
Credentialing Vision Plans: Client is responsible to credential the 20/20NOW doctors under their Existing Vision Plans. 20/20NOW ODs can’t be used to establish exam service contracts.
Billing: Client bills vision plan with Own software and staff
Sublease
A location has to have a contract of Sublease in certain states like California, Texas, and Virginia, based on their state laws.
Client: Private Opticals in TX, CA, VA, Eyemart Express
Who Employees the PCC: The Client
Who and How are Patient's Scheduled: Client with 20/20NOW Revolution
Phone Number: The Client
Webpage: The Client
Marketing: 20/20NOW can provide artwork, the site pay for any and all printing and signage.
Exam Payments: Client collects payment from the patient using 20/20NOW payment portal. 20/20NOW Keeps the exam payment, 20/20NOW pays the client a monthly sublease per terms.
Who Sets Exam Price: 20/20NOW sets exam fee price
Credentialing Vision Plans: 20/20NOW Responsible for credentialing our doctors under our Vision Plans
Billing: Client enters patient and insurance information into 20/20NOW practice management software, Revolution. 20/20NOW RCM Billing team submits exams to the vision plans for payment.
Managed
A managed location means the PCC onsite technician is recruited and employed by 20/20NOW. It is set up the same as if an in-person Independent Optometrist (IOD) is seeing patients inside a corporate location.
Client: Corporate Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club
Who Employees the PCC: 20/20NOW
Who and How are Patient's Scheduled: PCC with 20/20NOW PM software, Revolution. Optical staff may assist in scheduling appointments if there are "admin fees" in the contract.
Phone Number: 20/20NOW. A select few managed locations use the optical's phone number for scheduling.

Optech
An Optech location is similar to a managed location, the main different is the PCC onsite tech is a Walmart/Costco Optical staff memeber that is contracted to provide PCC services for 20/20NOW.
Client: Corporate Walmart, Costco
Who Employees the PCC: Walmart/Costco
Who and How are Patient's Scheduled: Optech PCC with 20/20NOW PM software, Revolution. Optical staff also assists in scheduling appointments.
Phone Number: 20/20NOW number that forwards to the optical. A select few managed locations use the optical's phone number for scheduling.
